Beaver River Watershed Initiative

The Beaver River Watershed Initiative (BRWI) is a volunteer-based, non-profit subcommittee of the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority. As a community-driven organization, BRWI is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the health of the Beaver River watershed and its surrounding ecosystems.
Rooted in science-based stewardship and local engagement, the initiative brings together residents, landowners, and municipalities to ensure the long-term sustainability of the watershed’s natural resources.
BRWI plays a vital role in supporting biodiversity and protecting the interconnected nature of land, water, and community.

To achieve this, the organization promotes responsible land management, habitat restoration, and water quality monitoring. Through strategic planning, data-driven research, and inclusive partnerships, the Beaver River Watershed Initiative empowers community members to take an active role in preserving the watershed for current and future generations.
