A small burial plot was part of a parcel of land purchased in 1981 by Art and Evelyn Proctor, from Norval and Leone Betts. This cemetery is located on town lot 16 on the north side of Zouave Street with access from Park Street. It lies at the foot of the hill, in the corner of the woods, under a knarled maple.
An early Methodist Congregation had secured the land as a burial ground and when it was abandoned years later, some of the graves were moved to other cemeteries. When the present owners discovered this cemetery, only four stones remained.

Many stones have been placed in a cairn and this has kept them in good shape. It is a well kept cemetery of which the Osprey residents can be very proud. This cemetery was first recorded in in 1988 by Alda Hawton.

Susette Godin is a painter of landscapes, objects and people who grew up in rural BC where she developed her fundamental attraction to the outdoors. She studied drawing and sculpture at the University of British Columbia and later completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at York University in Southern Ontario where she now lives (in Flesherton). Her work ranges from representational to abstract and includes many subjects from the area around her home in Grey County, Lake Superior where her family has a cottage and Mexico where she lives for part of every year. Godin attempts to transcribe a kind of visual energy of colour, texture and shape in her paintings. Her intention is to share a visual subtext which moves beyond the actual image to create a psychological experience as well. Godin enjoys sharing this personal process with others. She has a new studio space opening in Flesherton which will be open by chance or appointment.
