The newspapers were purchased in the late 1960's by the present owners parents, Walter and Phylis Walls and is one of the last independently owned newspapers in the area.

Holy Crow Beads is a bead shop/gallery in artist Beverley Smith's studio, located 2 hours north of Toronto, just west of Collingwood, in the Town of Blue Mountains. Bead mixes, bead kits for all levels, loom-weaving with beads, bead supplies, bead classes are all available. The studio is in a beautiful timber-frame home in the country. Just a 20 minute drive from Thornbury you head to the hills and leave the pavement behind. The working studio, with the wood stove and huge beams is the perfect spot to spend an afternoon beading.

We are a family run alpaca farm, one of the largest in Grey County with approximately 60 wonderful alpacas. We are raising tuxedo grey alpacas but we also have alpacas in 10 other colours. We sell fine breeding stock, and for the fibre artists that want to do it all themselves we also have fibre alpacas for sale. We carry alpaca socks, gloves, mitts, scarves, hats, shawls, sweaters all guaranteed to keep you warm and cozy. We also sell needle felting kits, alpaca puppets, and super soft alpaca stuffed animala. If you would like to come for a farm visit to see what all the excitement is about with alpacas please call or email us for an appointment. We welcome farm visits but for the safety of our alpacas we ask that you please leave your dogs at home.
