McCowan Stables has a group of well schooled horses for students to learn to ride. We offer riding lessons, leasing, coaching, boarding, training and clinics. Our program is suited to students who are looking to compete and become well rounded equestrians. Although we teach traditions of the sport, we provide a family oriented environment where students learn to rely on their peers for help and direction. We make sure that all students are involved in the process of learning. Lessons focus on individual needs and we always take the time to help a student improve their skills.
Osprey Museum celebrates the community culture and heritage of the former Township of Osprey by operating two historic sites - a one-room school house in Rob Roy and a former Salvation Army Church in Feversham.
We are a private museum established in 1992 under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors and are a registered non-profit corporation. Our main support comes from the efforts of our volunteers who organize and manage our fund raising efforts and the community who participate in these events. We are very grateful for their support.
