Carol Binns-Wood was born and grew up in Montreal, where she studied fine arts at John Abbott College, before moving to Toronto to take the fine arts program at York University. She also studied at Arts Sake, an alternative art school in Toronto. Carol continued to participate in group and solo exhibitions but her bread and butter income was from hand painted clothing that she sold at craft shows and retail outlets. She moved to Flesherton in 1989 and opened her own retail craft shop, Local Colour where she has continued to sell her own work and that of 50 other artists and artisans. Over the years, she has phased out the hand painted clothing and now makes hand forged metal work as well as her own paintings, drawings, sculptures and mixed media creations.

We value that we are a welcoming and inclusive community to all. We value our heritage of biblical faith, reason, liturgy, authority, tradition, bishops and synods, and the rich variety of our life in community, while also acknowledging that God is calling us to greater diversity of membership where no distinctions are made. And in particular, we joyfully share with the Church and in our surrounding community the gift and love of Music.
