Kate Esplen's love of horses and her intuitive understanding of their characters inspired her to draw horses, paint horses and make horse jewelry from a very young age. Her artistic expression over the years led her from the photo realistic pastel portraits of the horse's physical beauty toward more abstract equine paintings that better captured their real essence and spirit. Her abstract horse paintings use line and colour which are often mixed directly on the canvas with brush and a palette knife, and the occasional thumb, to capture the horses' movements. Her knowledge of their anatomy and their herd relationships add an intimacy to all her work.
We are a family run alpaca farm, one of the largest in Grey County with approximately 60 wonderful alpacas. We are raising tuxedo grey alpacas but we also have alpacas in 10 other colours. We sell fine breeding stock, and for the fibre artists that want to do it all themselves we also have fibre alpacas for sale. We carry alpaca socks, gloves, mitts, scarves, hats, shawls, sweaters all guaranteed to keep you warm and cozy. We also sell needle felting kits, alpaca puppets, and super soft alpaca stuffed animala. We welcome farm visits but for the safety of our alpacas we ask that you please leave your dogs at home.
Located in the beautiful hamlet of Kimberley, with wonderful views of Old Baldy. Hall has a kitchen on the lower level and a hall upstairs, and is fully accessible via the new elevator installed in spring 2020. There is a beautiful deck off the second level for barbecues and summertime tranquility! This hall comes equipped with tables & chairs.

Incorporated in December of 1976, the Klondyke Trail Groomers Snowmobile Club is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. The club operates under the umbrella of District 9 of the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) to promote safe, environmentally friendly, family oriented snowmobiling. The Club Executive works with government ministries, local municipalities, landowners, and members to secure the future of organized snowmobiling.
Lake Eugenia is centrally situated in Grey Highlands and offers excellent boating, fishing and swimming. The lake is a man-made lake featuring a mix of cottages and natural forests. The area around Lake Eugenia is part of the Niagara Escarpment and known for its picturesque views available year-round.
Local Colour is a fine crafts store representing over 40 artisans and artists,located in the charming village of Flesherton. We have been showcasing fabulous hand made items since opening in 1989. Every summer, local Colour is host to the Art Garden, an exciting show and sale of creations for the outdoors, with an opening party and kick off to the season on the first Friday in July.
